Sierra Leone Cricket senior male team, the Patriots, will Saturday 16th April 2016 play their open match with Mozambique in this year’s ICC Africa Twenty20 Division Two in Benomi, South Africa.
All the matches will be played at the Willowmoore Park complex.
Their next match will be played against Rwanda on Sunday 17th in the first match and on the same day they will play against Mozambique.
On Monday 18th is a resting day and on Tuesday 19th April, in the first match, Sierra Leone will play Rwanda which will be their last match and Mozambique will play Rwanda in the final match of the competition.
Only three teams will play in the competition which will be a round robin with each country playing four matches each and the country with the highest points will asthmatically qualify to Division One.
According to the Chief Executive Officer, Francis Samura, they were able to play three test matches to put the team in a very sound footing ahead of the competition under the supervision of South Africa coach, Kenneth Masinga Level Three ICC Coach, Cyril Panda and Serry Turay.
